- Solved: What to do about the sticky knobs?
The stickiness is due to the rubber coating breaking down so no amount of soap and water will help (in fact it will clean off any sort of dirt and oil and make it worse!) What I did find elsewhere is that regular isopropyl alcohol (‘IPA’) will actually dissolve the rubber bond so with some soaking and a toothbrush I was able to completely strip off the rubber The knobs no longer have that

Hey guys, I have the V-collection 6 I’m thing about upgrading to X this Black Friday including a new macbook pro m4 However, if I decide to upgrade my v-collection I don’t really feel the need to install an “outdated” version since I have the newest one But the question is: will it open up all projects where I used plugins from the V-collection 6? For example: I’ve used a DX7

Both that and the Arturia are way way to sluggish-feeling for my taste, compared to my acoustic piano I find this to be a problem in general with weighted keybeds, they kind of feel like the keys move through mud or something, even though they’re not “heavy” per se, they feel “sluggish”, hard to describe
- Setting up Keylab Essential 61 Mk3 with Cubase 13
I’ve been trying to set up my new KL Essential 61 Mk3 in Cubase 13, but I’m only finding Arturia’s KL Essential 61 pre-loaded into Cubase I tried using that one thinking it might be the Mk3, but when I see the layout, it’s a completely different keyboard I’ve looked around and not been able to find the Scripts needed to pull up in Cubase 13 for the Mk3 Does anyone know if these

If you open up Arturia Software Center today, you’ll see that almost all of your existing plug-ins have updates available The only V Collection X instrument that isn’t updated for existing owners is SEM V2 (which is replaced with a rewritten SEM V3 in VC11) This is standard practice for Arturia: anything that isn’t replaced gets an update
