Copy aseprite exe and the data folder from 'C:\aseprite\build\bin' to somewhere a bit more accessible (I chose 'C:\Users\ name \Documents\Portable Apps\Aseprite', but this is totally up to you) If you want your settings to actually save, create a blank 'aseprite ini' file in the same folder as the exe Open aseprite exe and enjoy!

Libresprite did not yet have all of the features of aseprite last time I checked and it's unlikely it gets developped as fast, although it wasn't far off Frankly If you really don't mind parting with some money I'd recommend spending the 20 bucks no matter the version you end up using because Capello did quite a good job and both versions stem from his work, but do not feel pressured by me in
