Audiosurf 2 cons: -Long loading times -Wonky hit detection -Weird glitches with powerups -Puzzle modes are unsatisfying I like Audiosurf 1 more but my interests are rather different than the general Audiosurf userbase so I would recommend Audiosurf 2 to most players

As a Mono player who went from AS1 to AS2, it took a while to get the hang of the new Mono mode It's faster, looks better, runs better (AS1 had bad mouse lag problems on fullscreen) and is really more reaction-skill based than the first game In my opinion, the new, different features such as live scoreboard, new gameplay mechanics, obvious graphical upgrades and Workshop support make AS2

I like Audiosurf (and Audiosurf 2) I like how I can plug basically any MP3 on my computer into it and get a fun level (Most rhythm games require people to chart levels manually ) What I don't like is the fact that the game expects me to optimize a match-3 puzzle game while I'm in the middle of playing a rhythm game

Audiosurf and Beat Hazard were two of my absolute favorite music games If you've never played them, they basically took local music files and generated levels based off of that data
