I've applied to Averitt Express and was wondering about their DOT physical they do is it a simple physical test or will you be lifting weights, climbing steps , etc and are they checking your blood pressure every 30 sec Or just one blood pressure reading Don't want to go to orientation and have to go home if I fail it Thanks

Averitt also has a jackton of service centers and drop lots for you to be able to park at the vast majority of the times you're out running I rarely hit up the truckstops, saving those for when I ran in an area with out service centers or for when my stopping time put me in-between available centers

The president of Averitt came in to personally shake each of our hands one by one and introduce himself This is the OWNER of Averitt, not a "higher power", but the actual top dog Since Averitt is not a publicly traded company, this guy pretty much is the shot caller for the entire company

Apparently Averitt is relaxing on the facial hair rule It looks like us guys are now permitted to have a beard as long as it is kept neat I was reading the image policy on Inside Averitt and it has been updated to reflect the beard rules

I applied to Averitt 2 weeks ago, and I have a phone conference interview today From what I understand they verify everything on your application before even speaking to you I would give it a week, and if you still haven't heard back from them call (931) 526-3306, at least I think that is the number, and ask for driver recruiting

Some terminals have clean restroom w showers Averitt focus more on Image then efficiency As for working P D they try to work you like a Dog, and forget about a lunch break Benefits has a lifetime max of a mil (thats low) I don't think averitt is a bad co just could be Much Better manageable
