My brother owned the Blue Bandit Gto for a short time in the early 70's He sold it to a Pontiac collector who at the time was around Olney Illinois He found the car again a year or two ago It is in a building in Texas , but the guy wouldn't price it He said Don Gay had tried to buy it back before he died

That is the Blue Thunder 4v dp intake they are a dealer Not a bad intake, but the Stealth is easier to obtain I would not expect to see an incredible difference between the Stealth the dual 4 bbl , unless the carburetors on the 2x4 are not tuned effectively

I actually talked with the guys brother today that owns the Blue Bandit GTO funny car, it is in a garage in Texas, the guy won't allow anyone to see it, but his brother said the guy is getting ready to retire and is going to restore it and nostagia race it he said it is exactly the way it was when his brother bought it from mine but it was weathered

I actually started this thread to ask about the various shades of blue I see that are all called "Washington Blue", and as I was researching for the thread it occurred to me that 1 true Washington Blue will appear different shades, depending on the lighting, and 2, slight differences in formulation result in slightly different shades, and this

The Blue-Dots have become "legend" so the reality of the matter is lost in the fog of memories and dreams From all I have read and heard from "old-timers" they were never the norm in car circles, never universally popular throughout the country, and ceased being available sometime around 1957-58

Blue lenses in the center of the red were standard equipment on 32-34 Packard V-12 models, as well as V-12 and V-16 Cadillacs from 31 thru 34, I think It was a way to distinguish the car from the lesser models at night

The plating appears to be in good condition but it's turned blue I've had limited sucess with a product called "Blue-away" purchased at the local Harley shop on some plated exhaust manifolds but it took a ton of rubbing and only about 50 #37; of the bluing came out Plus, it was obviously abrasive with some kinda grit in it

The 2nd time I painted it, both the blue and the white were oil based paint, and I sprayed both with a cheap HF gun The shine lasted longer after being sprayed The oil based paint (without the hardener) was good for 3-4 years before it looks really old
