One is slaved to the other Export is limited to 5kW I am looking to add about 30kWh of low voltage batteries (3 in series) to this via AC coupling (DC coupling direct to the Fronius units is extremely overpriced in my country and limited to BYD batteries) AC coupling will be achieved using a Deye 10kW hybrid inverter (SUN-10K-SG02LP1-AU-AM3)

As for BYD, the 60 kwh battery is certainly LFP But it comes in 126s1p form factor, using "blade" LFP cells (prismatic, but thin and very long) There are no "modules" in the BYD Blade LFP battery So while technically you can separate the cells, 126 doesn't divide equally to 16s or 15s packs, so you will waste some cells

What an Idiot, these are BYD cells which are smaller cells, he should have know this if he is going to do a review He could have compared the battery case size to other server rack battery cases as he suggested the case was longer thus the increased room I am only seeing two cell temperature sensors

From my understanding, catl's sodium battery isn't a lithium replacement, it's designed to be used in conjunction with lithium to balance weight, capacity, and c rating Also byd cars are going up in smoke all the time, so hopefully they'll figure out a way to increase safety, because lithium will still be used even when salt is incorporated
