I have owned both Baffin impacts that are very warm but run very small I have size 11 5 feet ordered 12,s they were not big enough so my toes got cold Sold those and bought korkers for the cleats The new neos arctic rubber boots They are warm ant the built in cleats and rubber have worked great with slush and bare ice

The Snow Monster looked better with more laces However there are reviews that the laces kind of suck and by pics the Ice Breaker looked maybe a bit taller Not interested in Baffin Impacts I read the issues with fitting bibs over the top Also have access to a nearly new pair of Sorel Glacier’s so I don’t think I need that class of boot

i wear the bulkiest boots youve ever seen (baffin titans) and i use the ICEtrekker diamonds My boots are size 12 For cleat size i bought XL Mens 13 They barely fit! They work fine but it takes a bit of effort to get them on

Baffin Eigers…they don’t go as high up your leg as the Impacts but are incredibly warm and very easy to get around in Walked many miles across the snow and ice in them Pair them with a pair of ice cleats for early season fishing and you can’t beat them

I currently have some discontinued Baffin boots that I’ve had for about 10 years now They are the warmest thing I’ve had on my feet by far The only thing they need now is a new coat of water repellent and maybe some new liners Otherwise flawless If I were to buy another pair, I’d get the Baffin Apex You won’t be disappointed

With the Baffin Eiger’s did you find that you had to wear wool socks, or were they fine with a normal pair? I’ve yet to need my thick woolies I have a “hiking” thin pair blended poly and smartwool I put these boots through the works lately Water, slush, snowmobling, subzero fishing, shoveling, etc
