Balcony: I find this to only be different for structural design purposes A "balcony" as might be commonly used to describe a small master bedroom deck is really no different than a deck, unless it is a fully cantilevered structure I find the only reason to differentiate a balcony would be for prescriptive structural design purposes

Hi All We have a 3 story office building in a warmer climate that has a central courtyard and fountain that employees and the public can assess There are also central exterior walkways balconies that are covered by the walkway above used as circulation to access the offices on each story
