With a new battery there probably would not be an issue but I'm not going to chance it, so will get a battery pack when the price is more reasonable, so at the moment, the camera comes on when the car does I highly recommend cable tieing and taping all cables securely and using Tesa tape where appropriate to ensure you don't have any rattles
