Hello everyone, I just received my Bostons and to my surprise they are not too small, they are even slightly bigger My foot measures between 285 and 290 cm, on the guide box I am at 45 (what Birkenstock calls a 12 in US size)

Too big and they'll feel floppy and fly off your feet at inopportune times If you're usually a US 12, EU 44 should work, unless you plan to wear thick socks, in which case I'd try 45, which is actually just a half size larger in Birks

You're in one of the few spots in the Birk sizing chart where the difference between 39 and 40 is a whole size rather than the usual half, so where 39 is short, 40 can seem too big

Got these gifted a while ago (can’t returns and only worn them a few times I’ve noticed some foot pain so thought I’d post to see whether folks thought these are too big despite being my usual size

The reason is that I tried a few Boston clog dupes in size 10-10 5 and found them to be too small and my feet would hit the back edge I’m also only planning on wearing them with medium thick socks and I don’t like my toes touching the front

What I usually recommend with the Boston is to find your correct size in the Arizona’s and then buy the Boston’s in that size Or take the measurement of your foot from toe to heel and add 10 millimetres to get your correct size in Birkenstock’s
