- (Advice) Should I buy the Bayard ? Or another premium - Reddit
dont listen to the commenters mainz is just bayard for noobs bayard scales much better with your skill and is an excellent ship for learning how to carry the only relevant advantage mainz has is he pen bayard has mbrb, the ability to actually dodge shit, higher baseline he dpm and god concealment the problem is just you need to be somewhat sentient to leverage these advantages
- Ship: Bayard or Mainz? : r WorldOfWarships - Reddit
The Bayard on the other hand is basically a really large DD that can be citadeled, it is really fast, sneaky, has pretty good torps, and a reload booster, but has the armor of a wet paper bag and you will call yourself lucky to only lose half your health to a bb salvo if you get caught out
- Tier 8 Premium Cruiser: Which One to Pick? San Diego, Mainz, or Bayard.
Bayard is a fast HE spammer, build for fires and after they repair, activate MBRB for more fires, alternatively build for IFHE for more consistency, works both ways Good at open sea and islands as well for the floaty shells Mainz is a mid-long range HE AP hybrid, HE on most ships for consistency (Built in IFHE) or AP on broadsides for juicy
- Bayard any good? : r WorldOfWarships - Reddit
Bayard is worth it, but i'd suggest you also look at the Mainz if what you are looking for is a good pew pew light cruiser If you know how to properly use your reload and engine boosters on the Bayard would be the superior option, but Mainz is more comfortable and consistent ship thanks to the German HE pen(38mm base no need for IFHE) and
- About those bayards. . . : r Voltron - Reddit
Story-wise, I think the reason we haven't seen more than a couple of cases of a paladin changing the bayard based on the situation is a lack of experience to deepen the psychic bond with the weapon Zarkon had dozens of years as the Black Lion's paladin and then presumably used the black bayard for 10,000 years during the empire's expansion
- Black Bayard : r Voltron - Reddit
Lotor was using the black beyard, and it's not immediately explained as to why he has it So a moment of confusion is understandable
- Bayard: IFHE or not? : r WorldOfWarships - Reddit
Also, Bayard will be setting decent amount of fires even with IFHE, and high fire chance comes with a bit of diminishing returns, as it does nothing against sections that are already burning IFHE will make you a bit weaker against targets that don't have any 31 to 37 mm plating
- Thoughts on Bayard? : r WorldOfWarships - Reddit
Bayard is for full open water (and shines on maps with few islands), the build must be done accordingly even if giving up concealment for rudder looks bad 90% of the cases IJN and MN cruisers all want to be far and nimble
