With black bears you're probably ok with doing this… With Grizzlies it's a totally different game xxxxxxxx I have a odor proof bag I use and I stash food in that and then put that in my front pouch All other food stays in bags and OP sacks in my bear bag I use the and put most of my food in an OP sack
