I believe the Bilge was intended as a catch all so non-boat related things would not end up cluttering the upper decks It does have its uses and some interesting topics are discussed However, whenever talking politics and religion, fights always break out I follow these threads but try my very hardest not to make negative remarks to other

Forward bilge gets wet from the anchor chain and wash downs Water comes in thru the anchor hawes pipe into the anchor locker which drains into the forward bilge I get about a 1inch deep 5 inch wide by 3 ft long section of the forward bilge Pump will run for 20 seconds when the float triggers
