  • Synik 26 – does size matter? - TOM BIHN Forums
Hi folks, here is my take on the Synik 26 that I had the opportunity to check out since it arrived a good week ago (disclaimer: provided to me free of charge by Tom Bihn for review purposes) I was (and still am) an enthusiast of the Synik when it came out about five years ago and for my thoughts about the Synik 30 I
  • More Smart Alec Pics and Comments. . . - TOM BIHN Forums
Hi folks, I thought more pictures are more good ;) especially since the Smart Alec will be on pre-order for just one week The Smart Alec was my first TB bag and is still one of my favorites I love the clear lines and the unobtrusive design (although that can be said of many TB bags) which conceals how clever this bag is
  • On the bright side: Luminary 12 15 meet the . . . - TOM BIHN Forums
Hi fellow Bihnions, obviously it's review time! Now that the revised Luminaries arrived some folks – like myself – might be wondering how they compare to the Daylight Backpack as these three are the smallest backpacks in the TB collection Thus I focus on the comparison here So here we go: On the left a DLBP (16 5 liters) in Nordic Northwest Sky Halcyon, in the middle the Luminary 15 in

  • Side kick vs Side effect - TOM BIHN Forums
I’m looking for a cross body day bag that would be able to fit a rain jacket Is the side effect to small for this instance? If I went with the side kick, would it fit in the top of the 22 MC with say a 14x10 eagle creek packing cube?
  • Daylight Backpack: Ballistic or Halcyon? - TOM BIHN Forums
Good question! I have a DLBP in Halcyon I use it very rarely, but it has been great for the scenario you describe If I had to buy it over again I'd be tempted to go for the ballistic, because I like the look of that better -- definitely less 'slouchy' But another factor is that the ballistic does develop minor scuffs through normal usage, whereas the Halcyon seems more resistant to scuffing
  • Bantam vs Side Effect? - TOM BIHN Forums
I currently have a side kick but it is too big for my edc, and I'm eyeing for the Bantam and Side Effect A few questions: I carry a iPhone 15 pro max, AirPods, Keys I understand that the Bantam is better than the SE for just these carries In the future, I may add a small camera (Fuji x100v); I wonder if it'll fit the
