You are likely right that OP will be fine Accidentally visiting a CP site once, or even a few times is unlikely to result in criminal charges Technically it is possible, but again unlikely HOWEVER, if you frequently visits sites with CP, or purposefully search for sites with CP, you can and will be prosecuted in the US if found
