For anybody who has been looking for a hefty single-shot lower receiver on which to mount a 50 BMG upper, take a look at the Rogue-50 from SMOS Arms Apparently they just finished up a production run, and you can place orders directly via the web site I have not had my hands on one, but they look like they're very sturdily built (machined from 7075 alloy aluminum) There's an awesome photo

Apparently the BOHICA lowers were reverse-engineered instead of machined from a set of plans, so some folks had dimension-related problems As long as yours works, it should be good to go

I just bought a BOHICA upper and a stripped Essential Arms lower! I am going to build my first 50 Cal! I would like to build the lower so they I can trade out will a 5 56 upper I am getting the modified bolt hold from BOHICA Any idea of what brand parts kit I should get (does it matter)? I have read many of the threads and they say you need to "heavy spring" and a "heavy hammer" to shoot
