If you need to download VMware Tools installation images, go to the Broadcom support portal VMware Tools are considered a free download and can be found in the free product list where you download Workstation Pro (just look for VMware Tools instead of VMware Workstation Pro) Note that you do not and should not use VMware Tools for Linux VMs

A couple months ago I got an email from Broadcom and migrated my VMware account to a Broadcom one I have been trying to download "VMware Workstation Pro for Personal Use (For Windows)" since I read the Blog post back in June
