I read somewhere that bushmaster recommends a rifle buffer with an A2 stock I use one on a magpul moe rifle stock with no issues on my 450 build I have no personal experience with a carbine tube but also heard that a regular carbine buffer works fine too but you may possibly need a spring with more power to send the bolt home consistantly

A 2 5-10 optic should be good enough for the ranges the 450 Bushmaster offers I have a Sightron S-TAC FFP 3-16x44 on my Ruger No 1 in 450 BM It's overkill but I wanted something with an illuminated FFP reticle and it was on sale for a great price at the time

I am looking at a Bushmaster and I have a question or two I’m wondering how to date it and it’s value The receiver says - B F I Windham ME U S A The snake on the lower receiver has the bullpup on it The BCG is an AR-15 style and not the M16 full auto bolt The barrel is 1:9 twist and it’s marked B MP 5 56 The upper receiver is a flattop upper No “T” marks Am I guessing right
