Aside from deer hunting as a kid, I'm an open irons milsurp shooter I just acquired a 1984-made R700 ADL in 30-06 It has Weaver rings with a 3-9x Bushnell Sportview I know the Bushnell Sportviews are typically regarded as garbage, but this one appears as old as the rifle (maybe a package 30 years ago?) and looks pretty robust
