Went out today around 9 am at Caesars Started out shallow with no luck other than one small crappie Moved to deeper water and caught this crappie in 28 fow about 11 foot down Finder showed a lot of fish but bite was terrible Fish measured 15 1 4", my biggest crappie caught there since lake was built Was a male with no war paint on yet

Well fellas its right around the corner! will be there next week for the annual campout took a trip today just to scout things out crappie were chasing a 1 16 ounce chartreuse jig in about 6ft of water very slow retrieve but they are biting which is good cause I was concerned about

a freind and i decided to start trying out C-Creek for flatties this summer, but after 2 tries we gave up! on our 2 trips we decided to set out multiple trottlines and limblines to eliminate dead water thus hopefully learning the lake quicker we targeted the area from the campground to upstream into the creek WHERE THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN MID-LATE MAY! on each night we had around 50+ hooks

I'm just wondering, I maybe taking the yak to Caesars Creek lake on Friday (wind and weather pending) and am wondering how the white bass fishing is there at this time of year? Any particular spots and or lures to concentrate on? I'm also assuming (judging by another thread) that the lake pretty much remains open in the winter
