I recently purchased a couple of Carquest premium filters They seemed to have changed since my last purchase One was made in China and the other was made in Vietnam They had significantly different face plates I included pics Are they both made by same manufacturer? Is it still purolator

I just got this Carquest Premium for $6 50 plus tax Canadian which I feel is a great price In the US, the price differential may be inconsequential but up here, the Carquest is literally half the cost Not sure if this was common knowledge, but thought I would share for anyone with less than idea access to distribution of Purolators

Just came across this on Advanced Auto that a new line of Carquest filters are on the market now Anyone have any efficiency numbers on these? I wonder if they are just duplicates of the PG made Mobil 1 oil filters Kind of high price at $16 a piece before discount

Advance Auto Parts has owned CarQuest for 10 years They are one in the same Advance announced that 700-odd stores are being closed That probably includes some, or all, CarQuest stores The market is saturated Napa, Auto Zone, Advance, CarQuest, O'Reilly's then you have Rock Auto, Ebay, and Amazon undercutting them

The last time I bought rotors from Carquest, they were relabeled Raybestos They didn't warp, unlike the OEM MOPAR rotors on mom's 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Have we really gotten this far, and some here are still writing about mythical rotor warping? Have you heard of pad imprinting? Poor brake break-in? The Article? Any of this sound familiar?
