- I PASSED the CCRN! - General Nursing Support - allnurses
I was reluctant to take my CCRN, fear of failure maybe I was a criticare RN almost 10 years before I took it and when I did I blew it out of the water Great scores (except the 5 questions in the psyche section) Congrats again That's amazing, congratulations! Thank you, I appreciate the encouraging words
- CEs for CCRN - Critical Care - allnurses
Just passed my CCRN and I know that there are 3 years before renewal and that I have to obtain 100 (????) CEs This is my very first certification =] soooo real
- CCRN Exam - Critical Care - allnurses
Hello, I used the Barron's CCRN review book, with practice tests, as well as the Pass CCRN questions online I felt the Barron's book gave a quick cut and dry review of what you needed to know in a easy to read format and the Pass CCRN questions were comparable or maybe even a little tougher than the actual CCRN
- CCRN Study Tips - General Nursing Support - allnurses
These are my chosen resources for content: Barron's CCRN book and Lifelong Nursing videos Resources for practice questions: Barron's CCRN practice questions (paper + online), PassCCRN (Elsevier), PocketPrep Adult CCRN, and ChatGPT I'm trying to not overwhelm myself and only select 1-2 resources to study from, and commit to it
- CSC Examination - Critical Care - allnurses
I studied for maybe a week (I work in a CVICU, and passed the CCRN a month before) I thought the CSC was harder than the CCRN I used the Ace the CSC book and did the AACN practice questions I had started to go through the Cardiac Surgery Essentials for Critical Care Nursing book, but wasn't really in a mood to read all of that, so stopped
- CEN, CCRN, or TNCC? - Emergency Nursing - allnurses
For CCRN, it was videos accompanied by PowerPoint presentations that also included handouts of study materials I found it to be thorough and helpful TNCC is the trauma nurse core curriculum course, and this is a good certification to have for anyone who deals with trauma patients I think of this course more like a BLS or ACLS course, though
- Cen, tcrn, cpen, atcn, atls, ccrn - Emergency Nursing - allnurses
Wouldn't hurt to take the CCRN But the topics in Cardio and Pulmonary topics will be more in depth You would have to memorize many hemodynamic values and understand each values' significance Pulmonary will be the harder of the 2 topics to understand CCRN would be over kill for any ED only nurse You'll never handle Balloon pumps, impellas, fresh hearts (AVR,MVR,CABG,etc), and post-cardiac
- CCRN (Neonatal) - NICU, Neonatal - allnurses
Isn't that an Adult certification for non direct care nurses? Most NICU nurses choose RNC-NIC or CCRN (Neonatal) I had to look up CCRN-K to see what it is
