Could someone tell me exactly where the "CJ8" and "Scrambler" emblems (repros sold on this site) were originally located on the body? Did all Scramblers have these, or just certain years and or trim levels? Mine doesn't have any logos on it Thanks, Craig

Your CJ-8 has a passenger side drop If you are really shooting for low budget, find a CJ-5 7 and pull the drive train from that It will be the easiest cheapest (but maybe not the best) If you are willing to spend a little more money, I'd suggest looking for a '91 to to 2000 cherokee with straight six and transmission and adapting to a Dana 300
