Using the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) strategies (environmental, information dissemination, community-based process, education and alternative), COSA is implementing the following programs and services in Montgomery, Elmore, Lowndes, Autauga, Dallas, Perry and Wilcox counties
- Recovery Support Services – Council on Substance Abuse - COSA-NCADD
COSA offers various support group meetings, social and life skill development activities to individuals seeking to recover from alcohol and substance abuse dependence
- EDUCATION TRAINING INSTITUTE – Council on Substance Abuse - COSA-NCADD
COSA-NCADD is an approved continuing education provider through the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) and the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners Contact hours are also available COSA-NCADD is always looking for trainers and presenters!

The primary goal of COSA-NCADD’s Education Training Institute (ETI) is to provide education and training on behavioral health prevention topics to professionals and community agencies providing services to populations at-risk for alcohol and substance use disorders
