- Nipple swollen - hard, black and scabby | The Labrador Forum
Obi had a similar lump on his chin recently - weeping, black and crusty We took him to the vet pronto and it turned out to be an infected wart (infected from him scratching at it) We had to bathe it in very dilute Betadine It looked pretty sinister until it started to heal properly All good now though

- Irritated jowls? - The Labrador Forum
I had her looked at by a vet once and she said they looked totally normal She said they can be black or red But I don’t have a lot of confidence in this vet and I just don’t believe it’s normal The skin in that area feels crusty versus soft like the rest around her mouth Has anyone else experienced this?
