- Cut internet cable | Cox Community
The answer to your question is, the wiring from the Demarcation point, (Where the Cox cable comes up to the home) forward into the home is the homeowners responsibility for repairs The cable coming UP to the home is Cox's responsibility That being said, Cox has a service called Cox Complete care which is 10$ a month will cover the repairs

- Worst internet provider EVER | Cox Community
I have had Cox cable since 1993, and their internet ever since they offered it I maintain the cables and splitters in my home and do not have any issues at all I cannot even remember the last time my internet was down That being said - What lights are on your modem when you lose Internet? What modem are you using? Have you tried replacing cable wires in your home? If it goes to a wall plate
- 2023 - Change Cable Modem IP Address | Cox Community
I have seen several people asking how to change the IP address on their cable modem due to security concerns I have those same concerns but have NOT seen the question answered anyway (The discussion gets locked) Is there a way to change the IP address on the Cox cable modem (unplugging and replugging does nto seem to do the trick)
- Does MoCA work if we use our own modem? | Cox Community
Cox won't add customer purchased phone modems (AKA eMTA) to your account The reason you may want to upgrade and use your phone modem for internet is to save having to split the signal to get to the phone modem and internet modem For every split you can get rid of increases your signal strength
