In Carlson the point attributes come in as a point block with the attributes on separate layers You can explode the point blocks to separate attributes and do whatever with the text

carlson Survey 2024 File>Plot> Plot or Plot Setup the pulldown list Print Style Table does not display all print styles Checked Options>Print paths>Printstyles path is pointed to correct PrintStyles folder yet not displayed in pulldown Note: this is sudden change worked fine last time I plotted

- Importing TEXT ASCII and drawing the points? - Carlson Software
I am having a heck of a time importing points onto an existing dwg? Is there a tutorial on how to do this?? Or can anybody give me a bulleted list of what to do? I import the points from a csv file Then I try and Draw-locate points but it draws in another dwg than the one I want? I think that I am a bit confused about the crd files and where it gets assigned to? tHanks for the help

When i am calculating up big jobs, such as roads, I create different point layers for the different things that need to be staked like all the different underground utilities And every time it makes four different layers for each set of points, the list of layers gets long really quick Just looking to shorten it up Thanks

Note Carlson resets the LTSCALE variable when you change drawing settings The line types using text characters will be dependent on the settings in the text style so check to see if the height and font are set to the same in each drawing
