If this is the way Carlson works, then in the next release, or in a patch, Carlson needs to come up with the AutiCad "Remove points from drawing" command where the points are removed and the symbols stay as an independent block This is a MAJOR issue guys

I run Carlson Survey 2007 StandAlone and wish to change my background color I have always had black but now I have a client who wishes to use black and gray for some of the Property Lines and it is hard to see the lines with a black background Thanks MB

In Carlson the point attributes come in as a point block with the attributes on separate layers You can explode the point blocks to separate attributes and do whatever with the text To move the point block and create a leader from the point to the attributes, go to " POINTS ", them down to " Move point attributes with leader "

Note Carlson resets the LTSCALE variable when you change drawing settings The line types using text characters will be dependent on the settings in the text style so check to see if the height and font are set to the same in each drawing

When you first start on Carlson it is a little spooky because there are so many ways to do things There is always more than one way to do anything you need to do For me, because I have an in-house standard set-up and a Corps of Engineers set-up that I have to deal with, I create a new drawing by using the "NEW" tab under FILES
