It has been known for quite a while that Carquest filters are Purolator made The CQ Red is the same as Purolator Classic, the CQ Blue is the same as the Pure One Prior to 2017, they were made by Frampion (when Champ and Fram were co-mingling), and prior to 2015-16, they were made by Wix

I can't speak for your CARQUEST rotors but I can tell you my experience with Akebono street performer brake pads I have eaten through brake pads in less than 10,000 miles with Raybestos PG plus, Wagner, etc I currently have Akebono ASP pads on the front and rear of my 2003 Honda CRV with over 30,000 miles on them

The carquest air filters for the most part are Purolator made Never had an issue with them Wouldnt surprise me if that filter is on backorder from Honda at the moment, air filter for a 2012 CRV was 3 weeks ago, drain plug washers and some wiper inserts are on backorder at the moment as well

Ever since CarQuest stopped being Wix clones they seemed to have switched suppliers several times I bought one a couple of years ago (85515) that was a rebranded Baldwin, labeled as Carquest HD I am sure I have also had the oval holes of a Purolator on a few too

Federal Mogul owns moog, but over the past couple years moog quality has faded But, the chassis in a carquest box is currently moog in premium and mevotech in second line However carquest is "possibly" changing chassis companies to Raybestos (formerly called spicer) which is a better product anyway

Carid, JEGS, Rock Auto, etc sell the PRT brand at MUCH less than Advanced Auto, even with shipping added I did notice that in my case, Carid listed the wrong part number (FWD vs 4WD), but the AAP site matched the PRT site catalog
