Dear colleagues and friends, We started this week with a briefing from The Church Commissioners team on the outcomes of the TFWG decisions on funding for the next triennium Whilst there is a budgeted increase in clergy stipends, there is concern that the differentials between cathedral and non-cathedral clergy will be lost, potentially meaning residentiary canons’ stipends will fall below

The data gives us insights into where visitors come from, diversity indicators, motivations for visiting and comms and marketing engagement Individual cathedrals have used their individual reports to inform funding bids, exhibition evaluation and foreign language resource provision The data allows AEC to do sector-wide analysis and benchmarking and to inform our national conversations

The Cathedral and Major Church Projects Support Panel offers cathedrals free advice and consultancy from nearly 70 volunteer experts It aims to help cathedrals at the early stages of projects
- Peterborough Cathedral gets ready for Shaun the Sheep
As part of Shaun in the city, the cathedral has organise farmyard sports activities game in the Cathedral’s Cloisters for two weeks in August when visitors are invited to join in sports including the Herd-les, Egg 100 metres, the Sty Jump and the Marrow-thon and there will be special appearances by Shaun the Sheep Created by Aardman
