Hi - i recently moved into the new apartment with CenturyLink on in Phoenix I registered and paid for fiber 940mbps My internet download speed is literally 3mbps and upload 5 6 Like what’s going on?! I called them nobody is helping I work from home and this is bad : (

Intermittent Slow Internet Due to "High Bandwidth Usage Alert" - Sounds Like My Speed Is Being Throttled My internet speed intermittently drops to much slower than the 10 mbps I pay for (which is slow, but it's the fastest available for my address) This occurs even if I disconnect all other devices except for one computer with a wired connection

So just got done talking with a sales person about the new fiber connection $65 per month for life, no contract, no caps, up to 940mbs Only caveat is that I need to sign up for paperless pay Has anyone done this? I've usually used the "speedtest" app to test my speeds but I dumped centurylink and got comcast, downloaded there Xfinity App (that comes with the ability to test your devices speed) So I use both apps and compare the two Turns out, there's quite a disparity Why? 350mbps 85mbps

CenturyLink Fiber - what is your actual speed? Anybody have the 200 Mbps plan from CenturyLink and can tell me your actual download speed? (E g I am currently paying for 400bps from Xfinity but I typically get between 3 and 30, depending on the day ) speedtest net will test the speed for you
