Hi All, So I really love me some Chipotle but have found that their nutrition calculator is a bit on the low side calorie wise so I tend to double the servings of calorie heavy ingredients such as rice chicken sour cream and opted out of having cheese

Was having lunch with a colleague at Chipotle when he ordered a Burrito Bowl He told me how its healthy and low on calories, what he ordered was something like 600-700 calories based on the calculator I told him he needs to double the calorie count at the minimum to get a more accurate estimate of his calories, and he couldn't believe it This is not the first time I've had this conversation

Just out of curiosity, how accurate is Chipotle's calorie counts? I could understand the accuracy in the burritos because you have to wrap them up and all but what about the salads and burrito bowls? the serving sizes for different toppings (meat, beans, rice) and the bowl in general seem very latte to what is actually counted on their online nutrition calculator Anyone ever test this or

Yeah, Chipotle is worth the calorie hit, IMO 600+ calories is about as good as you will do at any restaurant Leaving off or reducing the portions of dressings, sour cream and cheese helps Restaurant meals are hit or miss as far as accuracy goes in general I don't eat at restaurants very often for that very reason
