i just upgraded a windows 7 pro pc that has never had windows 10 on it before ,1st gen i5 dell ,, i just ran the setup form usb i created using the media creation tool,, after upgrade its not activated,, in 2023 MS shut off activating windows 10 with 7 key or upgrade,, you have to buy a key now,, i used kms to activate 10, then upgraded to 11 (with rufus) and 11 nocked out the activation,, and
