Does anyone know why Fed Ex (And does UPS do this too?) hand over packages to the post office to deliver? We dont always exchange gifts but I decided

Mid June I bought my great niece 4 pairs of shorts from Walmart They sent them via FedEx Fedex is problematic here because they won't ring doorbells They usually toss the package in your doorstep or porch But they didn't do that They took them to one of those drop off places A dry clean

50% of the time Fed Ex delivers to a neighbor I can somewhat excuse a delivery to a neighbor on either side of my driveway, BUT they mostly deliver across the road!!

The company has ZERO control over her actions One time my QVC delivery fell off the UPS truck somewhere The company CANNOT control poor delivery practices Even Fed Ex will take their time every once in a while I am always overjoyed when something arrives on schedule--because I usually expect the worst!

05-12-2025 06:14 PM - edited you obviously printed a UPS label instead of a USPS label Just drop the package off at a UPS Location Your title is misleading bc it's not an issue that the PO won't accept the package, it's your fault for taking a UPS package to the local PO the equivalent would be taking a USPS to the FED EX Drop off

I have been hearing the sounds of 2 different neighbors lawnmowers here in my house , mine was mowed Wednesday I am waiting for Fed-EX to deliver my Walmart order i ordered 2 BEACTIVE+instant relief acupressure calf brace relief for Sciatic nerve pain ! i have seen them advertised on tv in the past Amazon wanted $24 98 for one!

Seems like Ulta is following QVC with snail shipping! My last three orders from Ulta have had numerous excuses why it isn't being delivered from the original promised date Always running at least 1 to 3 days beyond the original date, Super frustrating! Is it just me? Or is this the new norm?

The mailing address was correct but I was told the barcode on the package was probably incorrect The barcode is created by UPS or Fed Ex and it dictates what post office to send it to for that gawd awful SMART POST DS lives on a street that borders two cities Both shippers believe he lives in the other city so the barcode is always wrong
