Crestliner is owned by Mercury and G3 is owned by Yamaha so it stands to reason they package their boats with the respective engine That should not bind you to their engine however Alumacraft is every bit the boat either of the other two are and they aren't owned by an engine manufacturer and their boats can be ordered with no pre-rig

Re: Crestliner owners I'm also a proud owner of a crestliner boat 2003 Angler 1600 with a 50HP 4stk Johnson Very durable and can handle some rough stuff! I do alot of Lake Ontario trolling and the boat can handle it I am looking at a new Crestliner, the 1900 SuperHawk with a 150 Merc Verado

I have been researching new boats, and am having difficulties deciding between the Crestliner 1450 SC Discovery, and the Lund 1400 SS Fury I know with these shorter boats tiller steering is usually the way to go for space reasons, but 99% of the time it is just me and my wife in the boat, and I like console steering better than tiller

Re: Crestliner livewell pump not working You apparently lost +12V or the ground connection at the switch Switches with a built-in indicator light have a ground connection on them The fact that the light doesn't come on would point to that as one fault although the ground connection wouldn't be the cause of the pump not working

Re: Crestliner vs Lund I buy liquidation from dealers and last year I had 2 shipment of Crestliner and Lund boats parts, this showed me how well they are built <br >Even if they belong to same company (Genmar) I liked Lund parts more than Crestliner
