Crossbows are legal for taking game, and fall under the same regs as bows (archery) meaning an earlier season and hunting on Sunday I haven't seen any restrictions that are specific to crossbows, so you'll want to brush up on the regs for manner of taking with bows

Archery (including crossbows) should be legal unless it is prohibited by the HOA I have dealt with a lot of HOA's and they need a way to harvest wildlife if and when it becomes a problem I would keep archery as a viable option as well as shotgun from an elevated platform, if legal
