I'm looking for some help in putting a kids camp together on the Gulkana river my intention would be to educate kids on how to not only survive but injoy a wilderness experince:) Some of the activety would be water saftey canoeing, rafting, fishing, first aid, gun safty many other activtys

I never do that even in sporty crosswinds I (almost) always use 40* Slower speeds, better view, and safer ops As long as the plane is flying I'm the guy in control of it I can't think of any good reason to land faster Sometimes in really gusty conditions I'll use 30* but that's rare Maybe some of the old timers here will comment Click to

Many here experienced firsthand, or know friends, or read stories about fast rising waters, and extreme conditions We where in the field throughout those storms, and part of why I haven't posted this review yet is because I KNOW that there are many armchair quarterbacks on these boards who love to do nothing more than pick apart how "they" woulda done this, or that

Got out to do some icefishing today on the Kenai Peninsula First time this season 8 1 2" of ice on Johnson lake in Kasilof 1" of the milky stuff and the rest was good clear ice Fishing wasn't hot but I caught 6 or so and my budddy caught at least 8 fish Stayed out maybe 3-4 hours I of

Have drank right out of our ice fishing holes on susitna, louise and crosswinds plus other lakes further up north I am sure there is a chance i could get it but have not yet or havent gotten it and had symptoms

They are affected less by crosswinds than vanes are, due to the fact that they have less surface area I haven't made a kill with mine yet, but I made the switch and am happy that I did
