Truck will turn over good and strong and will hit on ether but will not start up Here is what I have done Installed new batteries and fuel filters Ran hose into five gallon bucket of fuel to bypass tanks The fuel tanks and filters were full of algae I hooked up a gauge to the fuel manifold and show to have 75-90 psi when turning the engine

If the hand primer isn't hard to push, it sounds like you're not building pressure in the primary fuel system Look at your filter head To the right of the filter going vertically up from underneath should be a hex

Occasionally it would read higher than normal RPM, shutting the engine off and restarting always resolved the tach issue That pretty much threw a red flag for the timing sensor after reading the responses here Thanks again!

Check the fuel lines for the following problems: restrictions, collapsed lines and pinched lines If problems are found with the fuel lines, repair the lines and or replace the lines Check the fuel tank for foreign objects which may block the fuel supply

First thing I would check is battery connections So after messin with it, I cranked it and I could hear injectors, so while we were cranking it I pumped the hand prime and it coughed and tried to run I could feel air in the pump I pumped it for 10 min till it primed again, it started

I have a 3406E 6TS in a 1997 kenworth T800 It started last Friday I had a problem with my marker lights cutting in and out I shut the truck down end of day and Found it to be a corroded fuse under the dash
