The ones with the triangle-circle-square logo are definitely sleepers This was the early days of the Signature series, so they had incorporated some of that technology into a B8 line of cymbals I would put the early Alphas up against any pro level Paistes

All of the major cymbal makers offer cymbals they claim are made specifically for loud, amplified music with the strength to withstand harder playing Zildjian's Z Customs, Paiste's Rudes and Sabian's Metal-X are examples of these The "Rock" designated cymbals made by Zildjian and Sabian might meet your needs also

Of course, in addition to a set of hats, I've been experimenting with using only 2 rides (21" Zildjian Sweet Ride on the left, 21" sabian AA Dy Ride on the right - 2 very different sounds and both are crashable) with no other cymbals on the kit I have found that I enjoy doing left-side
