Honest max speed (optimized gearing) for a DRZ S or SM (only 33 5 hp) is about 90 Jetted and a pipe (maybe 38 Hp, at most), add a few mph This is the correct and unbiased answer!

Seems as if the stock DRZ charging system does a marginal job of recharging your battery The 'Free Power Mod', which will cost you about $4 00, will give the system just enough boost to properly charge the battery It also eliminates the connector between your RR and the battery, which is notoriously crappy and problematic

The DRZ is really nice bike but is a bit anemic in HP dept and lacks the legs to be a good frwy bike The Honda is old school but has plenty of torque and is pretty bullet proof You might want to look at a Husky 610
