Re: Dealertrack Physical Inventory by greenthumb-38 » Wed Nov 30, 2016 4:33 pm from what you describe, I think the 3 selection is correct, but you can try adding one new digit at a time and see what you get I think that keeping all handwrites to a bare minimum will reduce human error, which is the whole point in an inventory audit

The Dealertrack DMS does NOT automatically create journal entries when the parts inventory is manually adjusted The accounting office will need to create journal entries to increase or decrease the parts inventory value as appropriate

Here is the easiest way to deal with dirty cores in Dealertrack It appears you already know once a core is credited on a repair order or counter ticket it goes to your Dirty Core list And that dollar amount is still figured into your inventory value Once the core is written up for return to GM perform an option 30 "inventory adjustment" Type in the core part number example 97780683-C you

Hello all, Our dealer is having us shop for a new DMS Does anyone have insight on the current Dealertrack DMS? We have been on R R for the last 19 years, and I'm wanting to cover my bases on the pro's and con's of the competition We write about 100 RO's per day and have 4 counter staff How was the transition? Did they transfer ALL of your data correctly? Ease of use for the counter staff

Dealertrack question by cain555 » Wed Apr 13, 2016 10:19 pm What do you all do if someone calls and needs a part ordered off said recall? You have to write a RO to order the part, correct? Problem is, as a GM store, our MPVI #'s are getting killed because DealerTrack requires an open RO just to order the part, there's another RO without an MPVI
