I have 1903 installed, and the only update that fails is the definition update I'll keep searching for another answer as reinstalling windows from scratch seems dramatic for only the virus definitions being a problem

Yeah, my own computer is still on version 1909 Are you able to send faxes with Windows Fax and Scan still, even without the feature installed? sorry can't help as I've never used it with win10 I just had a play in devices and printers and double clicking fax opens the fax and scanner window can't try a fax as I don't have a modem attached to this laptop
