I just bought Dell G15 and experience the same with Dell Support assist maybe I will just not use that Dell support assist as it also crashed my laptop I used Dell Update software for the update of its bios and anything within my laptop I used AVG driver update to update other drivers as Dell wasn't able to do that really and used AVG tuneup to optimize my system
