Keep in mind that per DigiTech TR7 sounds are based on algorithms producing symmetrical fx where as the VV algorithms were designed to produce asymmetrical fx like an analog photo cell or Rotary would That doesn't mean one is better or worse (I like the old DigiTech Hardwire pedals), but it is a different beast with a different circuit approach
