Re: 2nd acct removal from Discover I think it's normal for all credit card companies to keep closed accounts visible for at least a year I've closed accounts from Discover, Chase, Capital One and BOA and all had the account I closed visible for 12-18 months

Re: Overpaid my Discover card In fact, you might actually get a statement credit that you can apply to purchases or to your next monthly payment Earlier this year I had a refund on a cancelled purchase on my PenFed Visa that processed after the balance had been PIF'ed; I ended up with a statement credit of nearly $60

Discover Now Issuing Paper Checks for Overpayment? I think I've heard a few mentions this on the forum before, but I generally have been paying my cards via bank bill pay before statement, and, generally, I round estimate up somewhere between $0-10 over the real statement

Re: Denied for Discover It Student That was basically what happened with me when I tried to get the Discover It Student card late last year except that it was for a lack of banking history I just waited six months or so and had my FICO score generate and applied again and it was an instant approval that time
