Why am I unallowed to extend my volume ? : r computers - Reddit Windows only allows you to add unallocated space adjacent to the target volume to the target volume, and the unallocated space must be on the right side of the target volume Software like DiskGenius can resize volumes without restrictions
Disk genius yay or nay? : r techsupport - Reddit Time machine (the mac backup software) ofc wanted to wipe the entire disk before backup The mac didn't want to partition presumably due to old age Went to partition on Windows however can't shrink volume on an ExFAT disk Now using DiskGenius Anyone had any problems with this seemingly free and handy software? Thanks for help comments
Disk Genius - Clones created wont boot. : r Backup - Reddit trueOnly cloning the C partition isn't enough for booting nowadays You'll also need the EFI partition at the very least You might even want to clone the whole physical drive instead of separate partitions Not sure why you can't even assign a drive letter to the cloned partition though Maybe run chkdsk on it? Or maybe it is encrypted with Bitlocker?
