Caribbean Beach question: with the skyliner available and closer to the Jamaica and Aruba islands, is a preferred room still worth it or should I book a water view room and request Aruba or Jamaica?

Disney officially recommends you park at DHS if you're looking just to ride the Skyliner, which, of course, costs money It's a matter of how much space there is to park at the Skyliner resorts

On the map, the Caribbean Beach Skyliner hub is south of Jamaica, just below the main entrance If you look at your MDE app and look at the map, it's on there now Preferred rooms at CBR are in Martinique and Barbados Martinique is the best, IMHO, for bus stops (the first stop), food and proximity to everything except the Skyliner as it's one of the furthest sections you can get from it

Updated Review - Feb 4, 2024 I stayed at this hotel again Feb 27th - Mar 2nd and have some updates I did get one of the newly refurbished rooms that I posted about in my previous review I like how much brighter the rooms are now cause they have so many more lights around the room The room
- Getting to Skyliner from EPCOT Monorail without going through the park . . .
If we were at an MK resort - we're staying at Poly - and wanted to get over to DHS, could one take the EPCOT monorail to EPCOT and then ride the Skyliner over? I know based on past experience the Skyliner picks up at the IG entrance, whereas the EPCOT monorail drops off at the main entrance Could one walk over to IG without going through the park?
- So are scooters allowed on skyliners and how do you board, if yes?
Yes, all mobility devices that are allowed on other Disney transportation are allowed on the Skyliner at Pop AoA, CBR, DHS, and Epcot, you follow either signage or CM direction to the mobility device boarding area, where two gondola are stationary after being pulled off the main line At Riviera, I think they slow the line dramatically
