I found a headstone in Canada in the place they emigrated to (distant cousins still live there) that I think is Ellen McDonald's On the headstone it states that she was the wife of Donald McDonald and a Native of the Parish of Laggan Do any of these names look familiar to any other genealogy researchers in this forum?
