My friend had this problem as well Here's what worked: You need to remove the launch options you needed to get SMAPI working Right click on the game, go to preferences and then general Set Launch options Then delete the line in there

As long as SMAPI is uptodate you can even have old mods in the folder and SMAPI will usually handle it by not loading them If you want to remove SMAPI then running the SMAPI installer will give you an uninstall option

Remove everything from the mods folder? Or if you want to play with mods later, just cut and paste the contents of the Mods folder into a separate folder and go play your co-op Put back the contents later after you have had your fill of co-op

After uninstalling both, I would also then going into your steam folder, find the Stardew Valley folder (inside the "common" folder) left behind, and delete that as well THEN restart you computer, THEN reinstall SDV, run it to make sure it works, THEN reinstall SMAPI again

hi i installed smapi but now i just wanna go back to the normal game i uninstalled it by using smapiinstaller (i chose the 2nd option etc ) but it looks like my game still have smapi ? im not really sure but i searched how to uninstall it and people were always saying stuff about launch options or smth but in my steam i dont have launch
