I installed the egw lightened hammer kit for the prodigy last year and starting to experience some light strikes that fail to fire I'm assuming I went with the 17 lb main spring but my order history from shooters doesn't specify which spring it came with The mainspring is definitely lighter tha

Rather than go with the Aftec I am planning on using a more traditional built-in extractor from EGW Has anyone had experience or preferences with the two models offered, HD versus Practical? HD design may require different tension adjustment methods than is commonly used or am I wrong? Thanks

I picked up another option, the EGW 1 4" guide rod for flat-wire springs + matching Prodigy plug I haven't tried it in the Prodigy yet, but I have the flat-wire setup in my Marvel class gun and really like the way it cycles
